The region is home to many wild birds, animals and flora and fauna. Cathar castles nearby at Termes with its gorges, and Villerouge Termenes. The famous “upside down” mountain of Bugarach, and Rennes le Chateau close by. The medieval cultural centre of Lagrasse 11220 is 30 minutes drive away.

Supermarket and all shops at Couiza – 25kms, a colourful farmers market every sunday in Esperaza, Limoux with all amenities and attractive historical centre is 40 minutes drive away. Lezignan Corbieres with its railway station and large comercial centre is about 45kms from the village.
