Our opinion A nicely designed, family chalet with a fabulous living area and terrace. It could be improved by converting the garage into a master suite and an additional bathroom thus resulting in a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom chalet. The owner has priced up building a separate garage (subject to planning).

Location The chalet is situated on Route des Granges, just to the south-east of Les Houches itself. It is no more than a 5 minute drive to the centre (just over 2km) and just over 10 minutes (7km) to Chamonix centre. The supermarket, SuperU is just over 500m from the property. The area is largely residential and close to the forest with some trails leading directly from the end of the road (about 100 metres away).
